In general visually pleasing. Background is especialy worth mentioning as it is really well done... that is right side of it. As much as right side is done with so much attentin left side just feels unfinished.
The character himself is well done. One can really see a difference between cloth and skin, which I noticed is often overlooked. Also now can easily see that rod Mark holds is made of metal and (I think) wood. Detail is decent. Some may argue that there is not really much of it but I think, there is enough and every detail is made with care.
My only nitpicks about character are that shadows seem off at times (crotch, under his left arm). Also a way that left foot is drawn but I am aware that is very hard perspective to draw so I won't detract any points.
As far as concept goes, I think it is wierd but very cool.
In the end this picture earns in my book 3.8 rods-with-warfstashes out of 5.
